Nice meet you!

I’m Ric and have held many roles throughout my career from systems admin, solutions architect, staff cloud engineer and Technical Evangelist for AWS. I’ve deployed many media scale websites to accompany TV shows, huge e-commerce platforms and transactional payment systems, designed large Video on Demand platforms, created multinational DevOps teams and most recently worked in Developer Relations for AWS and a large bank (my current role). Within the bank I’m building a 10k+ community of engineers and it’s this thats reconnected me with my original passion in computing, Open Source. This is why I would like to share with you all ideas and software solutions you can all run in a cost efficient way from secure messaging to desktop design solutions, some of you I hope use these tools to build a business or help educate others.
